The telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule [The European Language Certificates – German C1 University] is an advanced level examination (C1). If you wish to study in Germany, you must prove that you meet the language requirements. As of 2016, the telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule examination can provide this proof, which must be recognized by every German university.

The Sprachforum Heinrich Heine is a licensed institute for the telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule examination. Several examinations take place each year. Before you take this exam, you should take a preparatory course to practice the test format and focus your preparation.

Telc C1 Hochschule – preparation courses

Our preparation courses for the examination telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule specifically prepare students in small groups for the examination.

In the preparation course, you will learn how to write texts, react appropriately in different situations and handle complex listening and reading texts drawn from the worlds of science and society.

The 5 parts of the examination

are trained intensively so that you will know exactly what to expect on the telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule examination. A model test is administered for each part of the examination. You will practice authentic examination situations and receive individual instruction.

The time of the lesson is determined by the Language Forum.

Group size

5 – 8 students per course
Our telc preparation courses prepare students in small groups specifically for the telc exam.
Completion of C1.1 is therefore a minimum requirement for participation in the course.

Telc C1 Hochschule – examination

Anyone wishing to study in Germany must prove that they have sufficient language skills to be admitted to a specialist course of study. This proof can be provided by the “telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule” examination. The Sprachforum Heinrich Heine is a licensed institute for the telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule examination. Several examinations take place each year. Before you take this exam, you should take a preparatory course to practice the test format and focus your preparation.

Enrolment

Come to our Sprachforum Heinrich Heine at least one month before the desired examination date. Please bring your passport or identification card and the examination fee.

Examination fee

Examination fee: 170 €
The examination fee must be paid at the Testzentrum [Test Center] of the Sprachforum Heinrich Heine.

Repeated

The examination can be repeated as often as desired within one year.
The written or oral part of the examination can be repeated individually.

Recognition

The telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule Certificate is recognized by all German universities and colleges of higher education. You may study at any German university if you have passed the written and oral parts within the specified period.
